Applications downloaded from the internet, using a web browser such as Safari or Firefox, will go to your Downloads folder by default. You can access your Downloads folder by opening a new Finder window and locating ’Downloads’ on the left of this window. Often applications will be downloaded as a Disk Image, a virtual disk of sorts. I bought an Macbook Pro 13″ for school and made a new ID as I didnt want anything on my iPad to show up and clutter my Mac, as I only want it for school purposes. I can’t update apps that already came with my Mac because I was getting that update not available notification.
If so, how do I go about doing that? I imagine it’s when my iPhone is hooked to my computer and I have to sync something… But don’t see how to do it.
When Software Update says that your Mac is up to date, the installed version of macOS and all of its apps are also up to date. That includes Safari, Music, Photos, Books, Messages, Mail, Calendar, and FaceTime. MacBook Pro 13’ 2017/iMac 27’ 2017/OSX programmer 1 point 1 year ago On the Mac App Store, you can’t download previous versions of apps that would be compatible with previous OS versions. I can’t seem to download anything from the App Store on my 5.0.1 iPad 2. Every one I try gets stuck on ’Waiting’. I’ve tried leaving it 12 hours+, no luck. I tried signing in with both mine and my girlfriend’s AppleID, same problem. I tried turning Automatic Downloads on and off, both ways, no luck.
Also, where do the individual apps ’live’ on my MacBook? So I’ll know where to go to launch them. Download movie maker mac free. And I’m hoping I can keep favorites in the Dock - but don’t know about that, either.
Thanks, if you do!I Cant Download Apps On My Macbook Pro 11
Added (1). I’ve got my iPhone hooked up to my MPB and have iTunes open, but still don’t see where the apps live on my computer. Microsoft office for macbook air download free.
No, you can’t.
Apple Mobile devices use the iOS 5 Operating System, and Apps for the Mobile OS are only available through the iTunes Store, using the free iTunes App.
Apple computers use the OS X Operating System, and Apps for OS X are only available through the Apple Mac Store, accessible under the Apple Icon > App Store…
TIP: There are many Apps. Like Angry Birds for example, that have been re-compiled to run on Apple computers AND Mobile Devices. But these have a unique program for each platform.I Can’t Download Apps On My Macbook Pro 2018

*Why can’t I import the photos from my IPhone 5 to my Macbook Pro? So I have a little over 1000 picture on my IPhone 5 and i want to get them to go onto my Macbook Pro laptop. I know this probably sounds stupid, but I just can’t seem to figure it out! I’ve researched a lot of stuff and even went onto the apple website! I asked a few of my friends who have PC laptops and they said that a little pop-up came out in the corner of their screen asking to sync their photos. Well of course my doesn’t have a pop-up.
*Why are all the iphone apps I have ever downloaded saved on my macbook pro? There’s 60GB of iphone apps stored on my macbook pro. It is taking up a lot of space and i was wondering if that is normal or something is wrong. Would it be alright if I deleted all of it and just backed up my phone to the cloud?
*Transfer iPhone music/photos/apps onto new Macbook Pro? I just purchased a Macbook Pro yesterday and I plugged my iPhone 5 into it and was expecting the music to be automatically transferred to my computer, but that did not happen. How do I transfer my music/photos/apps onto my macbook? The computer I had previously used for iTunes is gone and unable to use.
*Transfer apps from iPhone to Macbook Pro? Is there a way to transfer apps from my iPhone 5 to my Macbook Pro? So I will not have to repurchase them? (e.g. I have Pages on iPhone but not Mac, would I be able to download it again for free?) Thanks in advance Also, when I go into the Mac App Store, Pages is still available only for the paid price? I assumed it would just say ’Download’ or something. I mean the Mac equivalent of the iPhone apps, but just wondering if I can get them free?
